How to create Pipe Development Drawing

Following procedure explains how one can create pipe development drawing with dimensions
from Tekla Structures.

1) Create model with PD/SPD profiles & create connections at node using Round Tube(23)
macro.

2) Create Single part drawing using wrap_tp setting.

3) Go to view properties  Set view scale to say 10  switch off shortening  rotate view if
required.

4) Draw line at bottom edge & copy it at top using copy command with ortho switched on.

5) Use divide command to split line in required number of equal parts.

6) Switch on only end point snap & create vertical generator lines.

7) Use Trim command to trim generator lines along curve.

8) Use horizontal & vertical dimension command to complete development dimensioning.
