Instructions to be followed by the students
1. The final year project “MEB4211 Project” shall comprise of and not limited to
(a) Experimental work,
(b) Theoritical & simulation,
(c) Fabrication & demo (allowed only for new and innovative ideas)
2. At the end of the semester a protype/ working model (Dynamic/Static) has to be
made by the students which has societal importance by applying scientific
principles.
3. The electronics & programming component for project shall not exceed 15% of
the total work.
4. The project may be done indegenious or industrial.
5. Industrial project with only process optimization and similar work will not be
accepted.
6. Students should ensure that the industry WILL NOT restrict sharing of datas
(related to project done by studentss) citing confidentiality of the information.
7. Students shall produce acceptance letter as a proof during zeroth review if opting
for industry project.
8. The team shall be of three members guided by a faculty of the department
(internal guide) and an external guide in case of industry project
9. A faculty can guide maximum of three batches.
10. The assesment weightage is 60% Internal and 40% External.
11. The students should not assume anything and shall ask the class advisor for
clarification of any of the points mentioned above.
The internal 60% weightage is assesed with the following components
