Our Mission:
Danah Universal School of Kuwait (DUSK) offers challenging and caring educational environment, in which
students are active participants in the learning process.
DUSK fosters critical thinking and problem solving skills, to ensure its students achieve their full potential as
individuals and as members of the global community.
Our Objectives:
DUSK aims to provide a supportive environment in which learners can develop their academic potential, their
personal and social awareness, and their career and goals.
We seek to develop the intellectual, physical and aesthetic potential for our students, along with moral sensitivity.
Students will learn how to analyze, synthesize and evaluate new situations with confidence and creativity. In
education, we focus on the development of the student as a whole.
We encourage all members of the school community to play an active part in the instructional.
Curriculum:
DUSK follows the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Literacy and Mathematics and Next

Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for Science. The school provides an external academic testing program
provided by NWEA. The language of instruction is English and Arabic and French are taught as foreign
languages. The other subjects offered are art, computer studies, music, programming and physical education.
Facilities:
DUSK campus has 38 classrooms including: two fully equipped computer labs, music room, two art
rooms, five science labs, two libraries one for Kg & ES and one for MS & HS, media center, drama room, reading
room, a large multipurpose hall/gym, an indoor swimming pool, home-science lab, two mosques, portfolio room
and two outdoor play grounds.
