Mark the projections of the following points on a common reference
line .Take 30mm distance between the projectors.
A 20mm above HP and 15mm infront of VP
B 20mm above HP and 30mm behind VP
C 10mm below HP and 35mm behind VP
Ap CO3 20
1A D 10mm below HP and 20mm infront of VP
E 20mm above HP and in VP
F 15mm below HP and in VP
G 8mm infront of VP and in HP
H 18mm behind VP and in HP
OR
One end of a line AB , 70mm long is 10mm above HP and 25mm infront of VP.
1B The line is inclined at 25 0 to HP and 450 to VP. Draw the projections and find Ap CO3 20
its trace .
End A of line AB is 10mm above HP and 20mm infront of VP. The other end is
2A 45mm above HP and 65mm infront of VP. The distance between the end Ap CO3 20
projector is 40mm. Draw the projections and its true length and inclinations.
OR
The mid-point of a straight line AB is 60 mm above HP and 50 mm in front of
2B VP the line measures 80 mm long and inclined at 30 0 HP and 450 to VP. Draw Ap CO3 20
its projections.
A regular hexagon of side 40mm is resting on one of its corners on HP and the
3A surface inclined 45º to HP. Draw the projections when the diagonal through Cr CO3 20
the corner resting on HP makes an angle of 60ºwith VP.
OR
A circular lamina of diameter 50 mm is resting on the HP on a point on the
circumference. Its surface is kept inclined at 45o to HP. Draw its projections
3B Cr CO4 20
when the line representing its diameter and passing through the resting point
is inclined at 30o to the VP.
4A Draw the projections of a pentagonal pyramid of 30 mm base edges and axis Ap CO4 20

70 mm long rest on one of its base corner in H.P with axis inclined at 40 0 to
H.P. and parallel to V.P.
OR
A cone of base diameter 50mm and axis height 65mm is resting on HP on one
4B Ap CO4 20
of its generators with its axis parallel to VP. Draw its projections.
A pentagonal pyramid of base side 30mm and axis length 60mm is suspended
5A by means of a string from one of its base corners with its axis parallel to VP. Ap CO4 20
Draw its projections.
OR

A cylinder of base diameter 30mm and axis length 50mm is resting on HP on

5B a point of base so that its axis is inclined at 45° to HP and parallel to VP. Draw Ap CO4 10
its front view and top views.
