 DRIVEQUERY Drivers are still one of the most critical pieces of software on a computer.
Improperly configured, missing, or obsolete drivers in Windows may create a lot of problems, so
having a list of what's on your computer is a smart idea. The driver query command
accomplishes just that. You can use the -v option to get further information, such as the directory
where the driver is installed.

 IPCONFIG -The IP address that your machine is presently utilizing is relayed by this
command. If you're behind a router (as most PCs are nowadays), you'll get the router's local
network address instead. Despite this, ipconfig is helpful due to its extensions. The commands
ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew will compel your Windows PC to request a new IP
address, which is beneficial if your computer says one isn't available. You may also reset your
DNS address using ipconfig /flushdns. If the Windows network troubleshooter fails, as happens
from time to time, these instructions come in handy.

 NETSTAT -The command netstat -a returns a list of presently open ports and their associated
IP addresses. This command will also provide the condition of the port: listening, established, or
closed.
This command is useful when you're attempting to troubleshoot devices connected to your PC or
when you suspect your system has been infected by a Trojan and you're looking for a malicious
connection.

 PING -You may need to know if packets are making it to a certain networked device at times.
This is when the ping command comes in helpful. A series of test packets will be sent to the
chosen address if you type ping followed by an IP address or web domain. If they come and are
returned, you know the device can communicate with your PC; if they don't, you know
something is interfering with communication between the device and your computer. This might
help you figure out if the problem is caused by a bad configuration or a network hardware
breakdown.

 PATHPING - If there are numerous routers between your PC and the device you're testing, this
is a more complex form of ping. This command is used in the same way as ping, by entering
pathping followed by the IP address, however unlike ping, pathping additionally communicates
information about the test packets' journey.
