After watching the video, I learned what is OS means. The operating system (OS) manages all of the
computer's software and hardware. Most of the time, many computer applications are running concurrently,
and they all require access to your computer's central processing unit (CPU), memory, and storage.

An operating system is a piece of software that serves as a bridge between computer hardware and the user. To
execute other applications, every computer system must have at least one operating system. Applications like
as browsers, MS Office, notepad games, and so on require an environment in order to execute and fulfill their
functions. Furthermore, there are different operating systems for the different hardware. 5 of the common OS
are: Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS, Google Android OS, Apple MacOS and Linux Operating System.

Uses of Operating System:

 Allows you to cover hardware information by constructing a facade.

 With a graphical user interface, it is simple to use.
 Provides a platform for a user to run programs/applications.
 The operating system must ensure that the computer system is user-friendly.
 The operating system serves as a bridge between programs and physical components.
 It offers computer system resources in an easy-to-use style.
 Acts as a go-between for all of the system's hardware and software.
