Professional Interview - Quick Reference Guide
The professional interview and the assessment (Article L.6315-1 of the Labour Code) are designed to support the employee in his/her professional development
prospects and to identify his/her training needs. They take place every two years and upon return from a period of absence more than 3 months. This document is to be
completed by taking into account the actions carried out by the employee since the last interview and over the last 6 years. The content of the document is based both
on the exchange with the employee during the interview and on the information collected by the company.

 Remind the goal of the interview : open discussion without evaluation, to allow the C. TRAINING
employee to share his/her feelings regarding the current position, the evolution/training • Review the history of training courses attended by the employee with the link ’Learning

 Remind that the interview does not constitute a commitment to fulfil the shared • Find out if the employee has attended any other learning courses that do not appear in

B. TYPE OF INTERVIEW
There are 2 types of interview. In the drop-down menu, 1 you must choose whether it is the
normal interview + assessment to be carried out every 2 years or the interview on return from
an absence from the company of more than 3 months. In this case, you must give the reason • Ask the employee if he/she has any wishes in terms of training and if YES, indicate them 5
for the absence by choosing from the drop-down menu 2
• Ask the employee if he/she has received (via HR) by mail the brochure containing
information about training devices (CPF, VAE, CEP), otherwise guide him/her in
Orbis => Hrdocument 6

D. EMPLOYEE’S CAREER PLAN


• Review with the employee his/her career path over the past 6 years, and any
professional and salary change he/she has had. You can find this information with the 9
link ‘previous employment ’ 7
• Discuss with the employee about his/her career development wishes in or outside the
company : acquisition of skills, functional development, vertical promotion, change of
job, etc. If they have any, update the IDP in the tab ‘Development' of myLink 8 9

Add one or more comments from you or the employee if this seems necessary to

E. PERSONAL – WORK LIFE BALANCE
• Discuss with the employee his/her personal/work life balance and possible improvements,
if he/she has any constraints/difficulties and if YES, indicate them. 9
• Ask the employee if he/she knows the solutions proposed by Tetra Pak to maintain this
balance (flexible hours, teleworking, ...) 10 12

• Indicate suggestions/ideas for improving work condition if the employee has any. 11
