Operational Finance- Analyst

Position Summary

• The Financial Analyst gathers and interprets financial information effectively and forms data into
structured data bases while considering a broad range of data accuracy issues. The Financial Analyst
identifies areas for improvements in data management, data collection and performs independent data
validation tasks.

• At this level Financial Analyst has demonstrated solid financial understanding and the ability to interact
with cross-functional teams throughout the global organization. The analyst exercises good judgment,
stays focused on results, and ensures the integrity of financial reporting in a fast-paced dynamic
environment.

• This role provides reporting and data consolidation from multiple ERP Systems, Corporate Data Cubes
and consistently reports on Information complexness and accuracy. The role is tasked with owning the
data set, performing analytics on the set, distributing reports through the organization and leading efforts
is standardization across multiple organizations

• Financial Analyst must have the ability to communicate with multiple customers including Factory
Finance Personnel, other counterparts managing and using different ERP Systems and report to Corporate
Directors directly.

• Financial Analyst role is a stepping stone in the Corporate structure, and the candidate must have the
ability to learn , expanded knowledge in areas previously unfamiliar, manage multiple projects, have good
attention to detail and the capability to take more senior roles in the future.

Primary Responsibilities

• Combine data for period–end reporting to support and analyze segments of the P&L (Sales, Pricing, Cost,
Maintenance etc)

• Support the updates to existing corporate cubes and lead creation of new data warehouses.

• Prepare and distribute standardized operational financial reports and communicate there meaning and
make improvements on the same reports.

• Work with global teams on collecting data, data governance and be part of cross functional project-
based teams leading these efforts.

• Prepare Technical cost center reporting including explanation of variances

• Work on ad hoc projects related to standardization of data collection, improving internal controls, or
increasing efficiencies
Requirements And Minimum Education Level

• BA/ BS with Major or Minor in Accounting or Finance or equivalate work experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance

Skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical skills

• Effectively balances pressures and demands of multiple customers and competing priorities

• Data Extraction from ERP experience

• Ability to communicate across Divisions and with upper levels of management (oral, written)

• Data Extraction from ERP experience Required

• Strong project management skills

• Customer profitability and expense analysis working knowledge
