WELCOME REMARKS
Roygina D. Naya welcomes the officers for the monthly meeting and
declare a quorum at 5:02 PM.
READING OF THE MINUTES

The Youth Secretary read the previous minutes of the meeting and
Roygina call for the council for the approval of the previous minutes, it
was then moved by John Calvin A. Lumapguid and was seconded by
Santhy Q. Ortiz.
CORRECTION AND APPROVAL OF THE MEETINGS

There are correction of the Previous Minutes of the meeting, it was then
corrected and approved.
BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE PREVIOUS MEETING

There’s no Business Arising from the previous minutes

I. Coordinator’s Report
A. VYCC and District Election

It was done last June 5, 2022 and was represented by our NSSJ
Council namely RG Naya (Youth Coordinator), Joshua Luna
(Service), Romeo Ybanez (Worship), Oliver Vasquez (Soc-Com),
Mary Joy Miala (Temporalities), Michael Punzalan (Youth Frontier)

and Joseph Jacobe also present in the Election.
RG Naya congratulated all the officers elected in the Vicariate Level

such as, Joseph Jacobe as the new VYCC Youth Coordinator, RG

Naya as the new VYCC Assistant Youth Coordinator and also for
the
VYCC Pastoral Committees namely: Michael Punzalan as the VYCC

Youth Frontier Chairman and Oliver Vasquez as the VYCC Social
Commination Chairman.
Ate Rg was so proud that mostly of the elected officers comes from
the National Shrine of St. Joseph and she reiterate that even
though that they are levelled up they should not forsake the
parish.
Last June 12, 2022 conducted the District Election and 4 VYCC
Representative was elected in the Office and the new District
Coordinator was from Danao Parish and Joseph Jacobe was his
Assistant Coordinator as well as Ate RG was elected as the District
Youth Treasurer.
B. PYCC Matters
Ate RG expresses her thoughts regarding the membership, about
the active and in-active members of the PYCC and she point out
that the officers would look into the reason why there are members
are already inactive and she assigned the Youth Frontier to make
action regarding this matter
Also, she included the concern regarding one of the member who
currently have medical condition which is slightly contagious and
she suggested in the council if we could remove him in the official
Group Chat and will add him back if he can provide doctors
clearance, so for the moment Ate RG will talk to him for proper and
clear instructions and this will be handed by the Youth Frontier
Chairman and also for him not to think bad, we will also removed
all the inactive members as such after we’re done in the Member’s
Assessment and Evaluation: Kamustahan.
And Ate RG reiterate that this is the biggest challenge to the

council and most especially to the Parish Pastoral Committee to
make and implement more activities.
C. 2nd Quarter Members’ General Assembly

Ate RG asked the council for the schedule time and we asked for
voting and 5 votes agreed to have it at 4:00 PM on July 10, 2022.

TREASURERS REPORT
Ate RG calls the attention of the Treasurer and the Auditor regarding the
reporting and she reiterate to always put it on writing and that the Official
Report and Liquidation must be submitted every Sunday so that the council
can track on how the money spent and how much is the cash on hand.
Regarding the backlogs the auditor will settle the June 12, 19 and 26
backlogs and it will be pass on July 3, 2022.
Fr. Yu reiterate that he will refuse to release the budget if the liquidation
will not be available. Calvin told the council and he had the problem regarding
the collection of the receipt but promised to overcome the challenge and they
agreed that the auditor and the treasurer must work together.
Calvin call out the importance of the group leaders in the collection of
the receipt and they asked the leaders if they can passed it before the end of
Sunday and they should give it to Joshua, Calvin asked them if the receipt
must be itemized per food and per date.

TEMPORALITIES COMMITTEE
 The Youth Coordinator asked the committee to present their
activities done last month however the committee was not able to
give one.
 Then the committee reported again about the green gown they use
during the fiesta and Ate RG encourages the committee that it
should be done already since its been 2 months. There are 6 green
gown which has not been collected. She then a deadliest deadline
to be collected on July 11, 2022.
 The coordinator then asked the committee to suggest if what

activity we can make to raise money for the council. The committee
suggested to a business such as consignment like selling
macaroons and they will just give the council a commission which
has been sold.
 The committee then suggested to sell water, Ate RG asked for a

proposal and they agreed to pass it on July 10, 2022.
YOUTH FRONTIERS
 The committee received a lot of complaint regarding the attitudes
of the members and the barrier they brought in from each other.
 And so, the committee decided to really push through the
KAMUSTAHAN, and the chairman and the members prepared
some questionnaire and after which the committee will have a one-
on-one interview together with the Youth Coordinator.
 Some suggested that we will use Google Forms to fill up the form
or just printed questionnaires.
SOCIAL COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE

 The Youth Coordinator asked the committee to present their
activities done last month however the committee was not able to
give one but expresses their thoughts if there will be an activity of
other committee they should submit a programme days before the
activity
 The committee suggested that there should be a promotional video
or prayer every Tuesday regarding the chaste heart of St. Joseph,
such devotional prayer and they shall prepare a template for the
promotional.
 Then, the committee also suggested to have a Chaplet of St.
Joseph every novena and the committee asked for the help of the
Committee on Worship and Education
 They also proposed for the posting of Solemnity, Memorials and
Anniversaries and birthdays of important people in the church
such as Priests, Bishops, Sisters, Lay, Etc.

 Kuya Calvin suggested the committee to pass a budget proposal for
the equipment to be used for the activities such as VGA, Cord, Etc
and files should be saved and compile everything to council’s USB.
 The committee also emphasized the posting of birthday
celebrators, it need to double check especially the dates and Kuya
Wowie asked the committee to post it in the morning because they
always posted it late and the committed suggested if they can
delegate the posting to their members to eased out their burden.
 Ate RG reiterated that the duty of the SOC-COM to filter out the
post of the members in their respective social media accounts and
she asked the committee to check who the members are who was
not able to like the Official Facebook Page.
 Kuya Wowie asked the committee to post the
OTHER MATTERS
 Video Greeting for Bishop Billones’ Birthday
 Chapel Revisiting
o To connect with the Chapel
o The council point out some reasons why we can’t push through the
chapel revisiting due to its precadiments and the coordinator said
that the council is still not established and it still premature.
 Parking Management
o This proposal is still floating because the service committee are
tasked to confirm this information to Msgr. Tony for proper
assignment
 Uniform of the Officers
o Ate RG suggested to have an Official Tshirt for the Officers and be
materialized on September 2022, then she asked the council to
used personal budget since the council doesn’t have enough
budget and this should be collected by the treasurer.

o This letter should be summited on July 3, 2022.
DIRECTORS TIME.
Msgr. Antonio C. Medida, P.C was not able to give his message since he was
not present during the meeting
ADJOURNMENT AND CLOSING PRAYER

The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 in the evening with the closing prayer
lead by Hyacient Flores.
