Performance
Task No. 1 The claims made by Teodoro A. Agoncillo in his book History of Filipino People
are conceived through a holistic approach of thinking. The holistic approach of
thinking is like looking at the bigger picture when analyzing or describing something.
It looks at the wholeness or wellness of situation. In Teodoro’s claim, he stated that
the word bahala na symbolyzes the fatalistic nature of the Filipinos. It becomes their
habit to use this phrase when facing tragedies and disasters with full of
determination. We can tell that he thinks holistically since understanding the nature
of Filipinos allows us to gain insight into their physical, emotional, social, and
spiritual well-being. Also, he treats Filipino as a whole by saying that Filipino is
naturally fatalistic. Not all Filipino are fatalistic there are some that are not. All in all,

b. In my opinion, Personal domain is more important than social domain

since it allows me to trust the truth that is based on my own judgment and

c. The concept of personal truth becomes dangerous when you only accept
the truth coming from your personal domain and refuse to listen to others. It
can lead to misconception and mistakes.

d. We can recognize personal domain in our daily conduct when the truth is
based on our own experience, opinion, and judgement while the social
domain is the truth agreed in society and we usually learn it from institutions
such as government, schools, community, and workplace.

End of Cycle Activity:

ating etika at idelohiya.
Pilipino.
