Role-Play―Chemical Bonds Worksheet

With your assigned group, prepare a presentation about chemical bonds. Expectations for the
presentation:
 Act out the three kinds of bonds: ionic, polar covalent, and nonpolar covalent. Be
creative! You may use props to help you present the bonds.
 Explain how ionic and covalent bonds form molecules and/or compounds, and explain
the difference between a molecule and a compound.
 Present a picture or model of an atom and relate it to how chemical bonds form.
 Compare and contrast the three kinds of bonds.
 For each of the three different kinds of bonds, name at least two examples of compounds
that have the bonds.
