    IRON CROSS - GAME SCENERY C3 Surroundings of Bir Hakein, Egypt, Mat 27, 1942: The
    Battle of Bir Hakein begins. elements of the 13th Demi-

    in 1,200 entrenchments, foxholes, gun emplacements and
    underground bunkers, deep camouflaged hides for vehicles
    and supply dumps. Your objective is to stop the German
    advance and defend the perimeter at the Battle of Gazala.
    The Germans and Italians join in a massive attack force to
    destroy these defenses and advance quickly and accurately.

    After the Battle:


    Special Rules: Legend With more reinforcements, the Axis attacked Bir Hakeim
    dirt road again on 9 June and broke through the defenses the next
    1-The Italian Player receives day. The British ordered the remaining troops to evacuate
    two more M-13 at turn 4 hill 2 levels as best they could, under cover of darkness. Under fire
    2- In turn 5 the French receives during the night, many of the French managed to find
    1 more artillery salvo breaches in the line to withdraw. The survivors then made
    their way about 5.0 miles to the west to meet up with the
    foxholes English 7th Motorized Brigade. About 2,700 soldiers
    from the original garrison of 3,600 escaped and about
    500 French soldiers, many of whom were wounded, were
    captured. Bir Hakein fell, opening the way to Gazala.
