Features
• Battery life of 5-hours or 10-hours*
• Jog Dial allows for easy navigation
• Color Display
• Operates on A/C during critically low battery state
(no longer requires minimum battery charge to function on A/C)
• Contains plethysmograph and blip bar on default monitoring
mode
• Contains graphical and tabular trend views
• Informative Message area used to communicate with user

* 5-hour battery charges in 4 hours. 10-hour battery charges in 8


hours.
Theory of Operations

- Monitoring system uses Pulse Oximetry


to measure functional oxygen Saturation
in the blood.

- Pulse Oximetry works by applying a


Nellcor sensor to a pulsating arteriolar
bed (usually a finger or toe).
