JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT OF DAKTAH STRANGE

I, Daktah Strange, 28 years old, Filipino, single, and residing in South

City Homes Subdivision, Barangay Tungkop, Minglanilla, Cebu after
having been sworn to in accordance with the law, hereby answer the
following questions propounded by Atty. Mary Therese Maurin at her office
at 1234 Ayala Life-FGU Center Building, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City,
6000. I am answering her questions fully conscious that I may be criminally
liable for false testimony and perjury if I lie.

1. Q: Do you know the accused of this case, Christian Gorsmancia?

A: Yes, I do.

2. Q: How did you come to know him?

A: I came to know the accused in this case, Christian Gorsmancia,
because he stopped someone from stabbing me at Mascara Urban
Resort and Bar on February 19, 2022, at around 10:00 P.M.

3. Q: Why were you at Mascara Urban Resort and Bar on February

19, 2022, at around 10 P.M.?
A: I was at Mascara Urban Resort and Bar to chill with my partner
after a 12-hour shift at Cebu Doctor’s hospital.

4. Q: Did you arrive at the bar together with your partner?

A: No, he was with his law school batchmates.
5. Q: Which part of the Bar did you and your partner stay for the rest
of the night?
A: We stayed in one of the VIP rooms of the Bar.

6. Q: And then what happened?

A: When I arrived at the room, I ordered a Shirley Temple
mocktail.

7. Q: Can you recall which part of the room did you sit in?
A: At the left.

8. Q: And then what happened?

A: I saw a commotion at the other table.

9. Q: What did you do when you witnessed this commotion?

A: I tried to ignore it but it got so loud and the other guy, who
turned out to be Christian Gorsmancia, suddenly flipped the table.

10. Q: What happened afterwards?

A: I, then, saw Christian Gorsmancia leaving the room together
with a friend. Others, however, stayed in the VIP room, including a
guy named Mojo Utonium.

11.Q: What were the people, who stayed in the VIP room, doing when
Christian left?
A: The others placed back the table and picked up the plates, and
utensils that had fallen on the floor, while Mojo was fuming with
anger and I heard him cursing loudly.

12. Q: What did you do after?

A: I told my partner that we should leave the room.

13.Q: What did he say?

A: He said yes but he told me that he has to go to the CR first.

14.Q: How did you respond?

A: I told him that while waiting for him, I'll go to the counter to
pay and give some tips to the staff.

15.Q: And then what happened?

A: I was on my way back to my table when a guy, who I knew
after the incident as Mojo Utonium, suddenly grabbed the front-part
of my shirt towards his direction and punched me on my right cheek.

16.Q: What happened after Mojo Utonium punched you on your right
cheek?
A: I lost my balance.
17.Q: What happened after?
A: I tried to stay away from him. I shouted and asked him “Naunsa
ka bai?” (“What’s wrong with you dude?”)

18.Q: Did Mojo Utonium answer you?

A: Yes, he said “Pareha lang mo niya” (“You're the same as him.”)
Then, he grabbed a bar chair and hit me on my right side using said
chair. The chair hit my right rib cage.

19. Q: What did you feel after Mojo Utonium hit you with the bar
chair?
A: I felt immense pain, and was too stunned to do anything at that
time. I was also confused because I didn’t know whom Mojo Utonium
was referring to when he said “Pareha lang mo niya”. My mind went
completely blank.

20.Q: What happened after Mojo Utonium hit you on your right rib
cage using the chair?
A: I fell to the ground. Mojo Utonium, then, walked a few steps to
get closer to me. While walking, he drew a knife from his left pocket
and stabbed me but he missed because someone stopped him.

21. Q: Do you know the name of this person who tried to stop Mojo
Utonium from stabbing you?
A: Yes, he is Christian Gorsmancia.

22.Q: Is this the same Christian Gorsmancia as the accused in this

case?
A: Yes.

23. Q: You mentioned Christian Gorsmancia tried to stop Mojo

Utonium, how did Christian Gorsmancia stop Mojo Utonium?
A: Christian Gorsmancia threw an Emperador Brandy bottle at
Mojo Utonium.

24.Q: What happened after Mojo Utonium was hit by the Emperador
Bottle?
A: The bottle landed on Mojo Utonium’s head and he fell down on
the ground.

25.Q: What did you do afterwards?

A: I wanted to ask for help but I failed to do so because of the pain
I felt when I was hit by the bar chair. Even the mere act of speaking
brought immense pain. I could only remain lying down on the floor,
while making some groans.
 26.Q: Do you personally know this Mojo Utonium before this
incident?
A: No, I don’t.

27.Q: Did you have any interaction with Mojo Utonium before this
incident?
A: No, I did not.

28.Q: Is there anything else you wish to add to your testimony?

A: There is none.
