INTRODUCTION 4.14 Purpose This document is to provide a plan for the implementation and use of the Engineering Design Tools for use on the Ma'aden Projects. 4.2 Scope 1.2.1 This plan describes the requirements forthe development, implementation and execution of the Engineering Design Tools in the Ma’aden Project design offices. 4.2.2. The applications to be implemented are as follows: a) SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID) b) SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) ©) SmartPiant Electrical (SPEL) 4) Plant Design System (PDS) e) MicroStation V8 CAD 1.2.3. PMC: The Project Management Contractor for the Owner's Phosphate and Infrastructure Project. EPC Contractor: The Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor responsible for the design of the Owner's projects. This includes the WorleyParsons offices acting in an EPC contractor role. IS: The Information Systems and support group SPF: Intergraph Corporation SmartPlant Foundation electronic information management solution for integration, sharing storage and management of ‘engineering information throughout the asset life cycle. SPPID: Intergraph Corporation SmartPlant PID database driven design tool for the production of P&ID drawings with intelligent attributes interfacing into the SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) data management system and other SmartPlant applications. SPI: Intergraph Corporation SmartPlant Instrumentation database driven design tool for the production of Instrumentation drawings and reports with intelligent attributes interfacing into the SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) data management system and other SmartPlant applications. SPEL: Intergraph Corporation SmartPiant Electrical database driven design tool for the production of Electrical drawings, reports and cable management with intelligent attributes interfacing into the SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) data management system and other SmartPlant applications. PDS (version 8, also known as PDS SE): Intergraph Corporation Plant Design System (SmartPlant Enabled); a database driven design tool for the production of equipment, piping, cable tray and structural 3D CAD models with intelligent attributes; arrangemenv/iayout drawings and isometric drawings. DEVELOPMENT 4.1 Development Activities 4.1.1 Design Systems Implementation schedules have been developed. Refer to Appendix 1. 4.1.2. SmartPlant Instrumentation and SmartPlant Electrical specifications have been written describing the functional specifications and set-up of each Design Tool Build. This specifications are based on the WorleyParsons standard Builds, customised and configured to suit the Owner's requirements and project specifications, 4.4.3 APDS Execution Plan describing the configuration and set-up of the PDS build has been written. This execution is based on the standard WorleyParsons PDS Build, customised and configured to suit the Owner's requirements and project specifications. 4.1.4 A MicroStation V8 CAD System - Installation and User Guide has been written describing the standard CAD Build. This installation is based on the standard WorleyParsons V8 CAD Build customised and configured to suit the ‘Owner's requirements and project specifications. 4.1.5 A workflow has been developed for the development and implementation of each Design Tool. For SPPID workflow refer to Appendix 2 For SPI workflow refer to Appendix 3 For SPEL workflow refer to Appendix 4 For PDS workflow refer to Appendix 5 For MicroStation V8 workflow refer to Appendix 6 4.1.6 WorleyParsons application specialists will develop and maintain the standard software ‘Builds’ for delivery to each project design team and EPC contractor required to use these tools, 4.1.7. IMPLEMENTATION 5.1. Systems Location and Access 5.1.4, The WorleyParsons, Melbourne office will be the ‘home’ design systems office for the Ma‘aden projects. The Master databases, specifications and reference data will be located and managed in Melbourne and implemented in other EPC contractor locations from the Melbourne configuration 5.1.2 The Oracle databases will be located on the Oracle server farm located in the WorleyParsons, Perth office, connected to the local design offices via the high speed wide area network. Where the wide network is insufficient, access will be through Citrix. 5.1.3 Remote access and access by non-WorleyParsons EPC contractors will be via the Citrix server farm located in WorleyParsons Perth office. 5.2 Implementation Ac 5.2.4 The necessary folder structures, network User Groups and file security for all Design Systems will be set-up by the Design Systems Coordinator in conjunction with the IS group as per the Design Systems PDS_CAD Security Matrix MD-101-0000-EG-GE-AEL-0002 5.2.2 Where applicable, installation Work Instructions will be developed to assist local Systems support and |S with the implementation and support of the Design Tools. 5.2.3 SmartPlant PID Implementation The SPPID project Build will be developed and configured on the WorleyParsons Oracle server ensuring the Ma’aden Plant Breakdown structure hierarchy and P&ID symbols are adhered to ASPPID functional specification will be written. Once complete and ready for use, the SPPID project Build will be loaded onto the Ma'aden Share Point portal for access by all EPC contractors. 5.2.4 SmartPlant Instrumentation and SmartPlant Electrical Implementation The SPI and SPEL project Builds will be developed and configured on the WorleyParsons Oracle server ensuring the Ma'aden Plant Breakdown structure hierarchy and relevant data sheet formats are adhered to. SPI and SPEL functional specifications will be written. muanen@ oatoc MA'ADEN PROJECTS Engineering DOCUMENT 1 wo.101-10004E6-GE-PLN-0003 PHOSPHATE & i INFRASTRUGTORE Design Systems Revision 01 Implementation Issued | March 2007 Plan Page 8 of 27 The SPI specifications and Build will take into account the MAC contractor requirements, Once complete and ready for use, the SPI and SPEL project Bullds will be made accessible to all EPC contractors via the Citrix interface. 5.2.5 PDS SE Implementation The PDS project Build will be based on the standard WorleyParsons base Build customised to suit the project specific requirements, standards and specifications as they are developed. The PDS Build will also take into account the data formats required for use with MARIAN material management system. The respective EPC contractor Design Systems Coordinators, with assistance from the PMC Design Systems Coordinator as required, will create and install the PDS databases and load the PDS data files from the seed Build. Where it does not conflict with the Ma'aden specification requirements, the EPC may customise the PDS setup to suit their operating processes. The base PDS configuration includes some typical generic PDS piping Material Class specifications. Initial layout modelling can be done for material take off purposes using these Material Class specifications. Final project specific PDS specifications will be developed as the project engineering specifications are completed. Within the WorleyParsons offices, the project piping ‘specifications will be input into MARIAN and exported from MARIAN into PDS in the WorleyParsons Beijing office. Note: any layout piping modelling done using the generic PDS Build piping ‘specifications will have to be re-modelled during detail design in the correct project piping specification. Each EPC contractor is responsible for generating the required PDS piping material class specifications for their scope of work. This will be done in liaison with the PMC Piping Engineering group to facilitate common Material Classes across all EPC contractors where relevant. Once complete and ready for use, the PDS project Build will be loaded onto the Ma'aden Share Point portal for access by all EPC contractors. 5.2.6 MicroStation V8 Implementation The MicroStation V8 Build will be based on the standard WorleyParsons Build customised to suit the project specific requirements, standards and specifications as they are developed. ‘Once complete and ready for use, the PDS project Build will be loaded onto the ‘Ma’aden Share Point portal for access by all EPC contractors. mower Poston MA'ADEN PROJECTS: Engineering DOCUMENT | yp-101-1000-E6-GE-PLN.0003 PHOSPHATE & i - WNFRASTRUOTURE Design Systems Revision 01 Implementation Issued | March 2007 Plan Page 9 of 27 6.4 With respect to the PMC Al Khobar office, once the CAD data file structure has been implemented, all CAD drawing files created during the early stages of the project and located on the Al Khobar servers will be transferred onto the correct folder structure and all files correctly named. This process will be managed by the PMC Systems Design Supervisor. 5.2.7 SmartPlant Review Implementation SmartPlant Review will be the project model review and design review tool. With respect to the PMC Al Khobar office, a SPR workstation will be located in the nominated conference room in Al Khobar and will be connected to the data projector for formal review sessions. SPR will also be loaded on designer's and engineer's workstations as required. See also Section 6.2 of this document. SPR data sets are snapshots of the PDS model and are thus not ‘live’ model data. ‘Thus SPR datasets can be copied and issued to any interested parties as required. Where model review data is supplied from EPC contractors in a non-SPR format, these data sets will be converted into the correct SPR format by the WorleyParsons Design Systems Group. 5.2.8 EPC Contractor Issue (Once all the Design System Builds are configured and functional, they can be issued to the relevant EPC contractors for use. Both the Phosphate Project and the Infrastructure Project in the PMC project offices will use the same Design Tools configurations and servers. The Builds will be available on the Ma’aden Project Share Point portal. EXECUTION EPC Contractor Coordination 6.1.1. The standard Design Tool Builds will be issued to the EPC contractors as. required to ensure that the EPC deliverables are in accordance with the Owner's requirements, as described in the Engineering Design Systems, Document and Data Handover Specification, MD-101-0000-EG-GE-SPC-0006. 6.1.2 The Design Tools interface shall be between the PMC Design Systems Coordinator and the various EPC contractor Systems Administrators. 6.1.3 The interface and data exchange between the PMT and the EPC contractor is as shown in the following appendices: For SPPID refer to Appendix 2 maanen “ MA’ADEN PROJECTS Engineering re 'MD-101-1000-EG-GE-PLN-0003 PHOSPHATE & i i NERASTRUDTURE Design Systems | Revision fot Implementation Issued | March 2007 Plan Page 10 of 27 6.2 For SPI refer to Appendix 3 For SPEL refer to Appendix 4 For PDS / SPR refer to Appendix 5 For MicroStation V8 workflow refer to Appendix 6 6.1.4 Data exchange will occur and be controlled through the WorleyParsons Project Share Point portal, as shown in the Appendices. 6.1.5 The PMC Design Systems Coordinator or WorleyParsons SmartPlant Application Specialists will conduct periodic systems audits of the EPC contractor Design Tools configuration and use. 6.1.6 The PMC and EPC contractor System Administrators will be supported as needed by the local Intergraph and Bentley Application support specialists as part of the software license agreements. 6.1.7. Updates and changes to the systems Builds will be posted to the Project Share Point portal and revision controlled. Model Review Sessions Compilation 6.2.1. Model Review sessions will be sent by the EPC contractors to the PMC as per the relevant agreed schedule. The review sessions shall be in SmartPlant Review v6.1 or later format, or other format as agreed by the PMC. EPC contractors are shall submit their Review datasets for review on a fortnightly cycle, or as otherwise requested by the PMC. The following files shall be included in the delivered review sessions: dri - Design Review Integration file -mdb — SPR settings and display sets file -drv ~ PDS label files -dgn ~ PDS model files and ‘dumb’ MicroStation files prp — PDS propagated model files Receipt of these file types will allow the PMC to create customised review sessions compilations as required, particularly in the interface areas, by including models from different EPC contractor models. These data sets will be compressed (zipped) and placed on the project Share Point Portal for transfer. Contacts 6.4 6.3.1 Appendix 7 shows the PMT and EPC contractor Design Systems Support personnel contact matrix. This matrix will be updated as required and as contacts change, WorleyParsons EPC contractor contacts will be the local Design Systems Coordinators for each design system. 6.3.2 There will be one Master Site configuration and reference database location for each of the Design Systems. All changes or updates to the system configurations and reference data will be made at the Master Site and published to all relevant EPC contractors. This is to ensure consistency of system set-up across all project offices and consistent deliverables. This is the responsibility of each EPC contractor.
