The water testing report from Perfect Engineering and Trading Company shows that the levels of phosphate and sulphite in the drum water of a biomass boiler for Scandic Green Energy are very low, indicating improper dosing of chemicals. This can cause scaling and corrosion in the boiler. The report recommends ensuring proper continuous dosing of TH-707 and TH-440 chemicals according to the quantities provided and using soft or RO water for boiler feed to reduce hardness. It also suggests dosing caustic to maintain alkalinity and pH levels in the boiler.

Observations & Recommendations:
Sulphite and Phosphate levels are very low in drum water which indicates an improper dosing of chemicals. Remember that a continuous low concentration of phosphate and sulphite causes scales and corrosion in the boiler. To maintain these parameters ensure dosing of chemicals (TH- 440 & TH-707) with a continuous dosing system and according to the given quantity. Moreover Drum water Hardness is also still high; this should be in the range of 0 to 5 ppm. You must use soft water or pure RO product of zero Hardness for the boiler feed. To maintain the Alkalinity and pH level of Boiler, dose some caustic (NaOH) in boiler feed tank.
Chemical Dosing Schedule
