Overview:

The Rosenberger Double RRU Mount (D215RRU) and Universal Remote Radio Head Dual Swivel-Mount
(D218RRUDSM) are being phased and will not be available for inclusion on OOMs after 15-September-2019. Any
purchase of the outgoing product should be added to the OOM prior to the phase date to avoid having obsolete
inventory.

Replacing these products, the Rosenberger Universal Low-PIM RRU Mount (D210RRU) and the Universal
Remote Radio Head Dual Swivel-Mount (D220RRUDSM) have been approved for use on Ericsson RRUs, as
substitutes for Ericsson Dual BTB Mast Bracket (SXK1250461/1).

The application for these mounts is the Ericsson remote radio heads having model numbers 44xx and 88xx.

Rationale
The new Rosenberger brackets have improved PIM characteristics relative to the older brackets, and they have a 4-
week delivery.

Although the Ericsson SXK1250461/1 brackets may be used, they have a known problem with bolts becoming loose
under vibration. When installing, AT&T requires that Loctite 243 (blue) medium-strength thread-lock adhesive be
applied to the threads. In order for this solution to be valid, a close-up photograph of the sealed threads must be
taken, and the adhesive must be visible.
