ORGANISATION
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To provide an understanding of the human resources.
To Demonstrate an understanding of key terms, theories/concepts and practices within the field of IHRM
To Understand an in-depth knowledge of specific IHRM-related theories, skills and practices.
To Identify and appreciate the significance of ethical issues in HR practices and the management of
people in the workplace.
To identify and to evaluate social, cultural, ethical and environmental responsibilities and issues in global
contexts.
COURSE OUTCOMES
After completion of the course, the students will be able to
CO1-Understand issues, opportunities and challenges pertaining to international HRM.
CO2-Understand the strategic and functional roles of HRM in various international contexts, especially in
areas such as recruitment and selection, performance management, training, learning and development,
career management, compensation, motivation and repatriation.
CO3-Understand external forces that have the potential to shape international HRM.
CO4-Develop competency in dealing with cross cultural situations.
CO5-Develop generic and transferable skills-especially in diagnosing international HRM issues critically.
