r' whereas DGS order No 13 0f 2021

dated 18.03.2021 amended the Standard
operating procedures issued vide DGS order No 28 of
2020 dated 01.10.2020
to enabre safe resumption of more training/teaching
activities at Maritime
Training Institutes (MTIs).

2. Whereas Section II of DGS Order No 13 of 2021dated 1g.03.2021

allowed
MTI for extension of validity of Short
term srcw certificates from lg months
to Five year after candidate completes
the practical at MTI.

3' Whereas taking note of the co,D-lg pandemic situation and lockdown
orders issued by the authorities,
the DGS order 13 0f 202r is hereby kept in
abeyance till further orders.

4' All the MTIs are directed to strictly

follow the DGS order / Guidelines
issued
from time to time especially during
COVID_I9 pandemic.
