5. Bidding Decisions:
We take the open competitive bidding method. Only bidders which submitted proposal estimate
lower that EIR will be reviewed, and after the review the most qualified bidder will be awarded with
project.(Comprehensive factors, including EIR, size of the company, past performances, etc will be
considered during review.)
7. Contract Schedule:
Contract Signing: Within 3 days from the result announcement
If the successful bidder does NOT wish to continue the contract, it is required that the bid deposit (5% of
the EIR, waived at registration) be paid to the Embassy (*Decree Article 37, 38)
Contract Period: 01 July 2022 ~ 31 January 2023 (7 months)
8. Bidding Invalidation:
Applicants that do not meet the stated qualifications are not considered for this bid.
Applications with insufficient, forged and counterfeit documents are not considered.(*Decree Article76)
9. Others:
All bidders are obliged to be fully aware of information specified in bid invitation. The Korean Embassy is
not held responsible for any issues arising from misinterpretation by bidder.
The Korean Embassy promotes transparency and fairness in contracts (Decree Article 5-1, and a successful
bidder must sign ‘Pledge to Implement Integrity Pact’ and ‘Confidentiality Agreement’.
The Korean Embassy may request bidding deposit, contract deposit and/or Security deposit for defect
repair according to the *Decree Article 37, 50, 62.
Any difference of interpretation would follow the interpretation of the Embassy.

2. Security Agency will ensure that all instructions of the administration are strictly followed and there is no lapse of any
kind.
3. No items are allowed to be taken out without proper Gate Passes issued by the authorize officers as laid down in the
contract for in-out movement of vehicles, goods or any material.
4. Deployment of Guards/Security Supervisors will be as per the instructions of the authorized officer of the Embassy
from time to time and the security agency will be responsible for their optimum utilization.
5. The Guards on patrol duty should take care of all the equipments etc. installed in the inside and outside of the Embassy
6. It should be ensured that flower plants, trees and grassy lawns are not damaged either by the staff or by the outsider or
by any means
7. The Security Guards/Supervisors should be trained to extinguish fire with the help of fire extinguishing cylinders and
other fire- fighting material available on the spot.
8. In emergency situations, security staff/supervisor/Senior Security Supervisors deployed shall also participate as per
their role defined in the disaster management plan, if any, Security personnel should be sensitized for their role in such
situations.
9. The Security Guards shall assist the visitors in reaching their desired department/locations
10. The Security Guard/Supervisor on duty shall not leave the premises until his reliever reports for duty.
11. Monitor and allow authorize vehicles or person to enter the Embassy premises
12. Secure all entry and exit gate doors and windows after end of the day.
13. Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences happened during the duty.
14. To follow legal protocol before arrival of the dignitaries or guests of the Embassy
15. Respond to the alarms and to investigate and assess the situation and to inform the authorize officer of the Embassy
16. Investigate the people and not to allow any trespassers in the Embassy
17. Check surveillance camera and identify disruptions, suspicious activity and report to the authorize officer of the
Embassy
18. Check the identity of the person entering the Embassy, the baggage of the person will be checked thoroughly.
