1. A graphic organizer is drawn on the board and pupils come to the front to write the ancient culture

2. Pupils sit in their groups and refer to the materials that they have brought. Pupils decide on a topic
for their groups.
3. Everyone can be brought to computer lab or given a manila card to prepare their presentation on

5. Pupils practise and divide parts to be presented.

Pre-Lesson 1. Pupils review numbers in word form.
2. Introduce the flashcards of daily routines to pupils.
3. Pupils get into the inner and outer circle form to practice the phrases on the flashcards.
4. Pupils return to their places with their flashcards and sing the song Mike’s Day in textbook page 15.

5. Pupils listen and hold up their flashcards when they hear the actions.
Lesson Activitiy 6. Pupils listen to the song again but this time they put down the flashcards. When they hear the
actions, they mime all the actions together.
7. Pupils in groups play ‘Taboo’ where by a student from each group will face their group members
and pick up card with a phrase. The student puts the phrase on his/her forehead where the student can’t

see but his/her group members can see the phrase. The group members mime / act out until the student
guesses the phrase.
