Barberton Area Community Ministries item for the Month of June is Potato Products, rice, noodles or box dinners. Please bring your donations when you come to Mass, together we can help those less fortunate, a box has been placed in the vestibule for donations. Items will be delivered to BACM on Monday.

The next Living Your Strengths begins on Wednesday, July 13 in Room #203 in the school. The cost is $42.00 per person, to register contact Renee Barker at 330-745-1080 or renee.barker@staugschool.net. Financial aid is available upon request.
Annual Paint Your Heart Out volunteers are served a continental breakfast and lunch
provided by NCS staff, volunteers and local businesses. Are you looking for a way to help but cannot be present during work hours or arent physically able to work on a house? The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 23 (rain date July 30). Breakfast or lunch donations may be dropped off at Decker Park Saturday morning. Please call Karen for details (745-0011). Thank you. ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH: Cedar Point is just 3 days away. We plan to leave the Saint Augustine parking lot at 7:30am and will return around 11:00pm. Dont forget to bring a covered dish to share. Sloppy Joes and drinks will be provided. See you Wednesday, June 29.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 11, 2011 Better than the best picnic ever!!! SAVE THE DATE for The Great Pumpkin and Apple Festival. The Saint Augustine annual parish picnic will begin with a Mass at 11:00am on the steps of our beautiful Church and will continue throughout the afternoon with food, entertainment, the rocketcar ride (www.therocketcar.com) and special visitors of CHARLIE BROWN, SNOOPY, AND THE GREAT PUMPKIN for memorable pictures. There will be plenty of games for all ages. We gather each year to socialize at this picnic for we care for each other and want to grow as a catholic family. Let's have another successful attendance.
ATTENTION: Volunteers, staff and Lil Bakers: This years Vacation Bible School had approximately 100 children learn how to Shake it up. Without all the help of our wonderful volunteers and donations from generous parishioners, the kids would not have been able to carry out Gods recipes! Thank you all for sharing your time, talent and treasure with the children of Saint Augustine and neighboring communities.
PSR REGISTRATION 2011-2012 PSR registration forms for the 2011-2012 school year have been mailed. PSR is offered to children starting in the first grade through eighth grade; classes are held at Saint Augustine School beginning Sunday, September 18 at 9:30am in the SAC. If a child is going into the first grade, and not attending a Catholic School, you are able to register for PSR. If you have not received your registration forms, or are interested in registering a new child/children, or would like to volunteer, please contact Renee Barker at 330-745-1080. Today we support the Holy Father in his charitable works. The Peters Pence Collection is taken up worldwide to support the most disadvantaged: victims of war, oppression, and natural disasters and others in need of emergency assistance. Cast the peace of Christ upon the world please be generous in todays collection. Pope Benedict XVI has said, It is necessary above all that every person be motivated by the authentic spirit of peace (Homily January 1, 2011) First Communion pictures and DVDs are in and ready for pickup. Please stop by the rectory at your earliest convenience to pick up your childs pictures. The rectory is open Monday Friday 8:304:30pm. Baseball, Hot dogs, fireworks, vacations etc.Another busy summer. Dont be too busy for your spouse. Get away, just the two of you, at a Marriage Encounter Weekend and enrich your marriage as well. The Fest our eleventh annual Catholic Family FESTival is coming soon. Mark your calendars and make plans to join thousands from across our region on Sunday, August 7 from 12 noon until 10:00pm on the grounds of the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe, OH. Come and enjoy the perfect family day with music from MercyMe, Remedy Drive and local talent, Praise-Apella. The day includes wonderful activities and crafts for our young ones and a Teen Lounge with special activities for both junior high and high school students. Its the perfect one tank trip this summer. The FEST is FREE and open to all. The FEST concludes with Mass at 8:00pm that will bring everyone together at the Table of the Lord. The day concludes with an incredible American Fireworks Display.
