2.5. CPE

The HSA control unit (SG) is designed in such a


way that when power to this unit is turned off,
everything, except the HSA function, must be
working. In the case of prep, exposure or
fluoroscopy faults, always switch off the power to
SG, to check if the fault is being introduced by
SG.

1. INJECTION CONTROL

1.1. INTRODUCTION
It is possible to connect an injector to the MD3
system through connector X20 on the left side of
the MD3 base unit.

The connector on the MD3 base unit provides


only a 220 Volt supply (see power supply
drawings section 3 of this manual).

There are no interconnections to provide for


synchronisation of the MD3 exposure and injector
start signals.
