Curriculum:

1. Fundamental Grammar Course - parts of speech, tenses, modals, articles, subject-verb
agreement, verb patterns, active/passive voice, conditionals, relative clauses, framing of sentence
structures and punctuations.


2. Writing Essentials: Task 2 - understating assessment criteria, importance of writing
instructions, how to write an introductory para, how to conclude a survey, framing of the body
paragraphs, types of survey questions and how to respond them, difference between an 8.0 band and
a 10.0 band response, how to generate and support ideas, important vocabulary for task 2, and much
more.


3. Writing Essentials: Task 1 - understanding assessment criteria, essential writing task 1 skills,
importance of writing instructions, different types of e-mail: formal vs. informal, structure of e-mail,
how to address the bullet points, choosing appropriate salutation and sign-off, how to write a
statement of purpose and a closing remark, difference between an 8.0 band and 10.0 band response,
important vocabulary for task 1, and much more.


4. Speaking Essentials: understanding the assessment criteria, understanding the type of
questions, understanding speaking templets, examiners expectation from each question type, how to
manage time in each question type, skills for how to interact on peculiar topics, topic-wise useful
idiomatic language, phrasal verbs, collocation and advanced vocabulary.


5. Advanced Reading: types of questions, why instructions are important, individual strategies for
each question type, learning skimming and scanning technique, how to manage time, how to quickly
locate answers and save substantial time, pro tips to advance reading skills, importance of an
educated guess and much more.


6. Advanced Listening: types of questions, why instructions are important, individual strategies
for each question type, importance of an educated guess, pro tips to advance listening skills, areas to
focus in a speech and much more.
