WHO WE ARE

In 1975, a group of Seventh-day Adventist students organized the Movement of Adventist Students
(MAS) organization with the goal of uniting SDA students and strengthening their faith and commitment
to the church. Then, in 1989, the Movement of Adventist Students was introduced to the Far Eastern
Division of the SDA Church, thereby, Adventist Ministry to College and University Students (AMiCUS)
was formed. Henceforth, the MAS became the MAS-AMiCUS. Through the years, the MAS AMiCUS of
the SDA Church continues to uphold its aim of mobilizing Adventist students in public colleges and
universities in proclaiming the Three Angels’ Messages.

OUR MISSION
To be a Bible-based revival movement in which every student is a missionary. To inspire, equip and
mobilize a generation of Seventh-day Adventist students in non-Adventist institutions to be wholly
committed to fulfilling the mission of the Adventist Church by proclaiming the Three Angels' Message in
the university campus for the imminent return of Christ.

OUR GOAL

MAS-AMiCUS seeks to uphold harmonious development of the spiritual, social, physical, and
mental faculties among its members towards higher service to God and humanity.
