2009/01/28 Muffler - Remove and Install (KENR8442-03)

Removal Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before

performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the
components to cool.

1. Remove clamp (1). Reposition hose assembly. Remove exhaust pipe (2).

2. Remove Clamps (5). Remove exhaust tube (6). Use two people in order to support muffler (4). The weight of muffler (4) is approximately
25 kg (55 lb). Remove bolts (3).

Installation Procedure

1. Position muffler (4). Install bolts (3). Install exhaust tube (6). Install clamps (5).
