AREA V - RESEARCH
PARAMETER A - PRIORITIES AND RELEVANCE
IMPLEMENTATION
The College, through the Office of Planning, Research, Extension and Training,
regularly conduct In-House Reviews for proposed, on-going and completed
research projects as part of the monitoring and assessment process. The Office
of Planning, Research, Extension and Training, also conducts the Search for
Best Graduate and Undergraduate Research where outstanding student
researches are presented and the winners are given awards.
Identified research outputs are also presented in different regional, national and
international fora and conferences. Results of completed researches are also
published in journals.
And finally, research outputs are submitted to the Intellectual Property Philippines
for intellectual property rights registration.

2017, 2018, 2019.

The following stakeholders participate in the formulation
of research agenda as bases for identifying institutional
thrusts and priorities:
I.2.1 Administrators;
I.2.2 Faculty
I.2.3 Student
The research agenda of ISPSC was initially drafted by the Office of Research,
Extension and Training taking into consideration the national, regional and local
thrusts and priorities. The drafted research agenda was then presented to the RDE
council for comments and suggestion during the joint Academic-Administrative-RDE
councils meeting. After incorporating the amendments, the research agenda was
approved by the body and recommended for approval by the Board of Trustees.
The research agenda was disseminated to the different stakeholders of the
College, which include among others the students, parents, government agencies,
non-government organizations, local government units, farm workers, fisherfolks,
and others.
