INTRODUCTION

The first crorepatis of Shark Tank India, Nagpur based Jayesh Sahebrao Tope, Pritesh
Prakash Mahajan and Pushkaraj Narendra Salunke, founded Revamp Motors Pvt Ltd, with a
mission to empower India’s hustlers while accelerating the transition to a zero-emission
society. Identifying the rising popularity and benefits of EVs, the Nashik-based start-up
launched India’s first EV utility bike - Revamp Mitra to develop vehicles that are not limited
to transportation but can be used by users according to their needs and requirements within a
decent budget. Designed for micro-entrepreneurs, these electric bikes build on modular utility
platforms come in multiple variants and multiple usages that can take up to 200kgs of weight.
Their pitch created a wave of excitement amongst the Sharks - Aman Gupta and Anupam
Mittal and got an investment of 1 crore for 1.5% equity.

ABOUT REVAMP MOTO

Revamp Moto 2020 was launched in Nashik, Maharashtra base is an electric vehicles startup.
This Revamp Moto develops highly reliable, modular, and connected electric vehicles based
on modular utility platforms. Revamp Moto is an EV startup founded by Jayesh Sahebrao
Tope, Pritesh Prakash Mahajan and Pushkaraj Narendra Salunke. As you know, Revamp
Moto is an electric scooter manufacturer made in India which makes reliable, modular
scooters. The demand for electric vehicles is very high all over the world, people are now
using electric vehicles instead of petrol and diesel car, bike. It is sure that in the coming
times, the number of electric vehicles inside India is going to be very high. Currently,
Revamp Moto has come out with its two products named “RM MITRA 02” and “RM 25”.
These two product is electric battery-less. This vehicle is made in India, its product has been
made in India.

AVAILABILITY

The price range of the e-bikes is yet to be announced. A company statement said Revamp
Moto will be eligible for FAME subsidies and can pass on the cost benefit to its customers.
The start-up said it has already received orders from multiple brands in India and is targeting
manufacturing 50000 units this year.

Jayesh Sahebrao Tope, Pritesh Prakash Mahajan and Pushkaraj Narendra Salunke,
founded Revamp Moto

Pritesh Mahajan is a founder and CEO at Revamp moto Nasik. In past he also worked with
state bank of india, PrimeChem Technology and Narmada Udyog And Studied Mechanical
Engineering and ms in renewable Energy from University of Reading

SHARK TANK DEAL

The co-founders came into the show with a huge order already in their pocket which was for
50,000 units at an order value of Rs. 250 Crore. The investment of 1 crore for 1.5% equity in
the company. Equity which took the valuation to INR 66 Crores was raised from Aman
Gupta, Co-Founder, boAt and Anupam Mittal, Founder & CEO of People Group. Anupam is
also an investor in bike taxi service company, Rapido.
