Subject: Functioning of Vigilance Telecom Monitoring Cell of DoT in the field.

Government has created nine more Vigilance Telecom Monitoring Cell (VTM) at
Gujarat, Karla, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punbjab, Rajasthan, UP(E), West Bengal,
Tamil Nadu in addition to existing four VTM Cells at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and
Hyderabad. They will be representing Department of Telecommunication in the field.
The responsibilities of these cells include Vigilance and Technical Monitoring of all
telecom service providers.

The area of jurisdiction of VTM cells shall be as follows:-
