1 The highest bidder to be the purchaser, and if any dispute


arises between bidders, the lots so disputed shall be immediately
put up again.
2 The goods are sold for cash and must be paid for and taken
away the day after the sale. Parties known to us who pay prompt¬
ly or who may furnish undoubted commercial references, may
have their goods forwarded for immediate remittance. All others
will be notified and their goods forwarded on receipt of the am amt
due us.
3 Purchasers unknown to the auctioneer will be required to give
name and address to the bookkeeper and make a depoMt of twenty-
five per cent, of the amount of purchase. Out-of-town bidders un¬
known to their agent should send deposit with bids.
4 In sending bids always state the highest price you ^ ill pav Pu'
each lot. We guarantee perfectly fair treatment It is well to be
liberal with lots you really want, and to take chances if you are
merely “ gunning for bargains.” Let us have your bids eailv as,

6 Every coin sold is warranted genuine. The coins are care¬
fully catalogued according conditions by known expert®, b'lt ac¬

turned for this reason. Therefor as a check on the cataloguer :
6 The day’s lots will be on exhibition on the day of the sale,
from 9 A. M. to 12.30 p. m., and every . oin can be carefully examin¬
ed.
7 Special lots can be seen at 36 John St., X.Y., at any time they
are not engaged. Out-of-town buyers can have any lots they are
specially interested in sent to th< m for examination by paying
cnarges both ways.
8 Collectors residing out of town can, for the usual commission,
employ experts to examine the various lots and bid for tiiem.
The auctioneer makes no charge for buying and assumes no liab 1-
