Social Media Goals: Increase Sales
Social Media Goals: Increase Sales
For each goal that we’ve identified, we outline the types of KPIs we’ll monitor and
influence. Each goal reflects a primary business goal so that it works in conjunction with
your plans for Q2.
INCREASE SALES
We will run advertisements on Facebook and LinkedIn and iterate the ads to continually
boost the number of clicks the ads receive.
INCREASE TRAFFIC
We’ll monitor landing page traffic with Google Analytics, using UTM codes to
determine which ads the traffic is coming in from. It will also help us understand the
specific audiences that are responding to the ads and where to focus our efforts.
INCREASE ENGAGEMENT
Highly visual, highly shareable social media posts that center on data and trends. We’ve
created a series of posts that repurpose existing content to drive shareability and answer
questions for your audience.
1. Campaign Launch by March 31, 2023 – The campaign officially starts, and
results will be measured against data prior to this date.
2. 7% Online Sales Increase by Mid-April 2023 – Within 6 weeks, you should
experience a noticeable uptick in online conversions.
3. A 22% Boost in Facebook Engagement by End of April 2023 – With tools like

THE PROBLEM
Although you’re putting full-time efforts into your social platforms and blog, your audience is not as engaged
as it can be. You are only managing to maintain your following instead of growing it over the past year.
Another problem is that you are currently marketing your product to the masses, and could reach profitability
faster if you targeted your efforts at specific customer segments
