LETTER 1

 Type the following letter in Times new roman size 12


 Input the text accurately, no spelling mistakes
 Use full Punctuation
 Apply single line spacing
 Use fully blocked paragraph styles

Type the following company name and West County Properties

 You work for West County Properties and have been asked to send a letter to a new
client: Mr. James Kennedy of 98, Mountshannon Road, Rialto, Dublin 8. Your
company’s reference for the letter is SH/JK and the subject of the letter is Mortgage
Application and should be typed in uppercase and bold.

 The letter should be dated today in long date format and will be signed by Sarah Harte,
Mortgage Broker.

 When composing the letter you should use an appropriate salutation and complimentary
close.

 Type your own name in the footer of the document. The text for the letter is shown
below and should be typed accurately with no spelling mistakes.

Letter Text

I refer to your recent visit to our Ballina office and the mortgage application form which was
completed in respect of the property at Lake Lodge. We obtained all the information required
by the lender and submitted a formal mortgage application to them. You will recall the extra
information required was in respect of annual employment and rental income. (New
Paragraph) I am pleased to confirm that the mortgage application for €200,000.00 has been
formally approved by the lender and we await their written confirmation, which should arrive
next Tuesday. (New Paragraph) It will be necessary for you to visit our office to complete
the paperwork. I know you are anxious to complete the purchase as soon as possible so
perhaps you could let me know your availability and I will arrange a meeting to suit your
schedule. (New Paragraph) I look forward to hearing from you.
