It's July 4, America's Independence Day. Day on which the United States formally seceded
from the British Empire. It was the year 1776.

From the beginning, Americans celebrated independence on July 4, the date that appears
on the Declaration of Independence. More than July 2, it is celebrated on the date of the
independence resolution when it was approved in a closed session of Congress.

Central Park.- This 341-hectare space located in the metropolitan district of Manhattan is
one of the most famous places to see in New York. The construction of Central Park began
in 1853 when the poet William C. Bryant and the architect Andrew J. Downing expressed
the need for the city to have a public park, which began the construction of the green
heart of one of the major cities in the world.

Statue of Liberty.- Considered a symbol of freedom and independence, this imposing

statue could be considered one of the most famous monuments in the United States and a
destination to see in New York. Its inauguration was in the year 1886 when the French, in
commemoration of the 100 of the Declaration of Independence of the United States, gave
it as a gift. Thanks to its historical importance, UNESCO named it a World Heritage Site in
1984.
Brooklyn bridge.- This bridge is one of the most famous places to see in New York thanks
to its appearance in countless Hollywood movies and series. This imposing bridge was
built in 1870 and was considered the largest suspension bridge in the world until the
appearance of the Forth Bridge.

un testigo del evento que describe el evento en sus propias palabras. Una fuente
secundaria es aquella que fue creada más tarde por alguien que no tuvo experiencia de
primera mano o participó en los eventos.
Son todos los recursos que contienen datos formales, informales, escritos, orales o
multimedia. Se dividen en tres tipos: primarias, secundarias y terciarias. filtrada,
interpretada o evaluada por nadie más. Son producto de una investigación o de una
actividad eminentemente creativa.
Ciudadanía
El origen de la ciudadanía se remonta a la Antigua Grecia, en el que “los ciudadanos” eran
aquellos que tenían derecho a participar en los asuntos del estado. Sin embargo, de
ninguna manera eran todos ciudadanos: los esclavos, los campesinos, las mujeres o los
extranjeros residentes eran simples súbditos.
El origen del concepto de Ciudadanía puede remitirse al siglo V a.C. , en la antigua Grecia,
el cual estuvo marcado por la guerra, que dejó como resultado el modelo de gobierno
democrático y uno de los más importantes inventos griegos: la Polis, no solo como la
delimitación de un territorio y una forma de gobierno.
Se habría desarrollado en tres fases: civil, político y social.
