Greetings!

Here with is Resolution No. 02 series of 2022 of Barangay Bungliw, San Jorge, Samar
entitled “A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CONGRESSMAN
STEPHEN JAMES TAN OF FIRST DISTRICT OF SAMAR TO ALLOCATE FUND
FOR THE CONCRETING OF BASKETBALL COVERED COURT IN BARANGAY
BUNGLIW, SAN JORGE, SAMAR”.

Due to following reason compelling reasons, to wit;

1. The Barangay Bungliw has an existing basketball which was constructed 1990s
and has not been funded and improved for years. In a consultative meeting of the
Barangay officials has suggested and agreed to request to allocate fund for the
construction of Basketball covered court in our Barangay;

2. the aforesaid infrastructure project is a priority thrust of the Barangay Council

that would benefit residents to the Barangay as a whole because the concreting of
this basketball court will pave the way for the physical and sports development of
the Barangay;

3. The Barangay lacks sufficient funding to be able to implement the concreting of

the basketball court, hence this request;

4. Barangay Bungliw, San Jorge, Samar is concerned to the safety and satisfaction of
the people who use it.

In our aim to provide the best services that we can offer to the public and for the
general welfare. We are looking to your favorable action on this request.

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CONGRESSMAN STEPHEN

JAMES TAN OF FIRST DISTRICT OF SAMAR TO ALLOCATE FUND FOR THE
CONCRETING OF BASKETBALL COVERED COURT IN BARANGAY BUNGLIW,
SAN JORGE, SAMAR.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Bungliw has an existing basketball which was constructed

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member HON. EDGAR G.

LABONG and Seconded of Sangguniang Barangay Member HON. ROLANDO E.
LABONG and all council - be it:

NOW THEREFORE, the Sangguniang Barangay in session duly assembled Resolved as

it is hereby resolved requesting the Honorable Congressman Stephen James Tan of first
District of Samar to allocate funds for the concreting of Barangay basketball covered
court

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copy hereof be sent to Honorable Stephen James Tan,
Congressman of first District Congressional District office for his information, favorable
action and guidance;

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, the copy of the program and works of the said
concreting of Barangay basketball covered court be sent together with this resolution;

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this 15th day of July 2022 at office of Barangay Bungliw,
San Jorge, Samar.
