Noun
Pronoun
A relative pronoun is used to link one phrase or clause to another phrase or
Relative Pronoun clause. It is called a ‗relative‘ pronoun because it relates to the word that it
modifies and is not specific.

An adjective modifies a noun or a pronoun by describing, identifying, or


quantifying words.
We use comparative adjectives when talking about or comparing two things
Adjectives (not three or more things).
A superlative adjective expresses the extreme or highest degree of a quality.
We use a superlative adjective to describe the extreme quality of one thing in a
group of things.
Usually you can get to the comparative form by adding ‗-er‘ at the end of the
word and to the superlative form by adding ‗-est‘.

Verbs are sometimes described as ‗action words‘.


Verb But some verbs do not give the idea of action; they give the idea of existence,
of state, of 'being‘.
Thus, in simple terms we can say that verbs are words that tell us what a
subject does or is i.e. they describe:
