SCOPE OF WORK

00010:COVID-19 OUTBREAK
SCOPE OF WORK/ SPECIAL CONDITION OF CONTRACT

NAME OF WORK: Job contract for spraying of disinfectant at NTPC RSTPS in view of COVID-19 outbreak.

The agency shall be responsible for works as per BOQ and any other works assigned by EIC within or outside main plant
RSTPS.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Scope of work includes the services as described in BOQ including all material, tools, consumables, labor and any
miscellaneous items in sufficient quantity/ number so as to provide uninterrupted services as per direction of EIC. Following
services shall be provided from 6AM to 10PM every day including Sundays and holidays at identified locations as per
direction and instruction of EIC. The services shall include:

1) Spraying of disinfectant as per schedule assigned by EIC. The workers may be required to be deployed in shifts.

2) Any other related activities as assigned by EIC from time to time.

3) Battery operated spraying machines which will be purchased by the agency and paid for the same in relevant item will
become the property of NTPC and to be handed over to NTPC-Civil on completion of the work.

4) Consumable PPEs kits like: masks, face shield, gum shoes, hand gloves etc as per actuals.

5) For this work, sodium hypo chlorite shall be provided by NTPC through Chemistry dept and agency has to deploy
manpower for collecting the same and spraying. NTPC-Civil will provide spraying machines in civil stores.

6) Reimbursement of amount towards PMJJBY & PMSBY as per actuals.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT:

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

a) Contractor shall submit monthly running bills in duplicate to EIC along with all the details. EIC shall recommend the
payment after checking and necessary correction, if any.

b) Along with the bill contractor must submit verified and signed copies of documents regarding payment to their workers.

c) For all of the operations, payment shall be done only for the components of quantities executed satisfactorily. For
unexecuted components of operations, deductions shall be done as per direction of EIC.

d) Contractor shall comply with all statutory regulations and laws against the contract labours deployed for this contract.
Obtaining an HR clearance for every bill shall be a prerequisite for payment of any bill.

e) All liabilities towards payment of statutory taxes applicable to this contract shall be borne by the contractor.

f) Applicable taxes shall be deducted from each running bills unless contractor submit relevant exemption/waiver from
authorized agencies.

g) Quoted unit rates for all items shall be firm during the contract period.

h) Contractor shall provide to service personnel necessary Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPEs), and shall ensure all
operations shall take place within standard practice of safety.

i) The agency shall maintain all records regarding number of labour being deployed on daily basis. These records shall be
verified by EIC time to time.

j) The agency shall keep proper records of all/ any payment(s) made to contract labour on account of awarded work and
shall produce these to EIC whenever asked to do so.

k) Anything not specifically mentioned in the scope of work, but is necessary for successful completion of the contract, shall
deemed to be included in the scope of work. Contractor is obliged to successful completion of the full scope of work.

L) The agency has to register each worker for Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha
Bima Yojana.

m) The Agency has to submit all statutory documents like ESIC, Contract agreement etc. before start of work.

n) The contract may be further extended up to three months based on requirement on the same rates terms & conditions.

CONTRACTOR'S OBLIGATION:

a) Contractor shall take necessary insurance policies, labour license, register the labour under ESIC, pay PF contributions
and shall bear full liability towards statutory and legal compliance applicable to this contract. Applicability may be ensured
from HR NTPC.

b) Contractor shall provide to service personnel necessary Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE), if required, and shall
ensure all operations shall take place within standard practice of safety.

c) Contractor shall bear the responsibilities regarding transportation of personnel deployed under this contract from their
residence to work site.

d) Contractor shall provide necessary consumables/ uniforms tools/ tackles to cleaning personnel according to requirement.
