QUESTION 1:

The population size I have chosen are 100,90,50,40,10. The frequency of allele 1 from the highest
population size to the smallest population was decreasing. There were more population that were
fixed on the highest population size and less population that get lost on lowest population size over
many generations. In the frequency of allele 1 and allele 2 the were vice versa of populations. There
were less fixed populations in the highest population size and more that get lost in lowest
population size over many generations.

Question 2

In population size of 1000 and 100 the plots were stable there were no change occurred in the
frequency of alleles and generations thus there were no fixed nor lost population. As the population
gradually decreases there were equally fixed and lost population. The infinity population also stays
stationary or stable.

Question 3

In frequency of the allele A1 over 500 generations there were many populations that were fixed and
less population that were lost. In the frequency of allele A2 there less population that were fixed and
more population that were lost over 500 generation. As the number of frequencies over 500
generation decreases from 0,8 to 0,2 the population gradually decreases and there are many that
were lost in a population. Over 200 generation in the frequency of allele A1 there were many
populations that were fixed and less population that were lost and vice versa with the frequency of
allele A2. As the number of frequency decreases from 0,8 to 0,8 over 200 generation there are many
populations that were lost. Therefore, as the number of frequencies decreases there more
population get more loss.

Question 4

The selected fitness levels were 0,8 and 0,2. In the frequency of allele A2 there were more
populations that were lost over many generations and less population that were fixed. As the level
of fitness were lowered this could affect the survival rate of the health fitness which it would be 80%
in the allele A2 which could also affect the allele A1 over the 100 generation which it would be only
20%. Therefore, the effect of those lower fitness levels in the frequency of allele A2 may show the
loss of the allele over 100 generations.

Question 5

The mutation rate that was selected was 20% on the frequency of allele which means there were
more fixed population in allele A1 and few populations that were lost whilst in Allele A2 there were
less fixed population and more population that were lost over 200 generations. The other population
rate that was selected was 80% As the mutation rate were increased there was a gradually loss in
the frequency of allele 1 in the early stages of the generations which may cause the population to
not being fixed. Therefore, as mutation rate were being reduced in allele A1 it is because we do not
want the allele being reduced or loss at the early stage of a generation.
