Proceedings:
1. The LAC Session started at exactly 9:00 am with a prayer followed by the singing of
the National Anthem, Zamboanga Hermosa and Division Hymn. The Head Teacher
of EsP Department Ma’am Maria Socorro A. Joaquino gave her opening remarks to
start the LAC Session with positivity and enthusiasm.

2. Ma’am Joaquino introduced the resource speaker for the LAC Session, Mrs. Airene
A. Reyes, Master Teacher I of EsP Department who will share her insights on how to
be prepared as classroom teacher in a neo-normal set-up equipping Explicit Teaching
Instruction with us.

3. Ma’am Reyes started the LAC Session through Demo Teaching and she used Grade 9
Module 6: “Karapatan at Tungkulin” as her reference and the participants as her
students. Ma’am Reyes started with the preliminary activities followed by the
motivation, introducing the objectives of the lesson then the lesson proper, after the
lesson she then gave a group activity followed by the individual activity. Ma’am
Reyes also emphasized that in explicit teaching the teacher gives clear guided
instructions to the students. It involves demonstration “I do” (Teacher), “We do”and
“You do” where in it involves guided practice and activities. Ma’am Reyes also emphasized
that for the Limited face to face classes, teachers will be using explicit teaching instruction to
cater the needs of the students in this difficult time.

4. The LAC Session ended around 11:00am.
