Level 7A – Writing Errors

Guide: It’s important to let your students learn about writing errors so that they can learn
from other’s mistakes. There are a few activities you can do out of the following writing
errors.

 Select about 10 t0 20 sentences. Prepare a worksheet for your students to practice.

 Use slide to project the errors on the board
o Group discussion
o Then whole class correction
 Allow students the chance to explain their classmates why the sentences are wrong
 Make it as a game activity through working in groups
o Find winners with the most correct answers

Instruction (for students)

 There are 20 sentences. Each sentence contains one or two errors.
 Find the errors and correct them.
 Discuss your answers with other students.
