navedene glagole možemo podijeliti u više grupa:

1. glagoli koji se odnose na senzore (čula) - (hear, smell, see, notice)

Ove radnje su automatske, nisu stvar volje i promišljene akcije.
Do you hear footsteps? This classroom smells! Can you see him?
NOTE: Ing forma podrazumijeva promišljenu, voljnu, svjesnu radnju.
BUT: see može biti voljna radnja u značenju pratiti ili posjetiti:
Where’s Bill? He’s seeing his girlfriend home. I’m seeing my coordinator tomorrow.

2. Neki od LINK glagola (glagola koji vezuju subjekat i predikat)

appear, feel, look, seem, smell, sound, taste….
Your bag feels heavy. The fruit looks good. The meat smells bad. The cheese tastes salty.

NOTE: Svi navedeni glagoli mogu imati ing formu ako su svjesne radnje osim SEEM!
She’s just tasting the salad to see if it’s sour enough.
FEEL, LOOK, mogu imati dvostruki oblik ako zapažamo nečiji izgled ili osjećanja:
You look bad today. You are looking bad today.
How do you feel now? How are you feeling now?

3. Glagoli koji izražavaju osjećanja: (love, hate, care, dislike, mind, enjoy..)
NOTE: enjoy – enjoying long for – longing for (We’re longing for peace.)
NOTE: ALWAYS
1. Always is usually used with the Present Simple, like other adverbs of frequency.
I always drive to work. He always drinks beer.

2. Always can also be used with the Present Continuous, but there is a change in meaning.
She always has a shower after work. = She does this every time.
She is always having showers. = She does this too often.
You always drink beer. = You do this every time (we go to the pub).
You’re always drinking beer. = You do this too often. You drink too much.
He always buys me flowers. = He does this every time (when it’s my birthday).
He is always buying me flowers. = He does this more than is usual. (not just for my birthday).

3. Always + Present Continuous is often used to suggest criticism in the opinion of the speaker.
You’re always complaining about something! She’s always going shopping
