Course Description:
Transport form a very important component and link in the tourism sector. This course provides
students with knowledge about transport; modes, systems, organisation and planning in relation
to tourism operations. It equips them with skills of how to manage transport systems to enhance
tourism development.
Course objectives:
Understand the role of transport in economic development of a region
Appreciate the role of transport in fostering close contact and unity between traveling
individuals and societies
