Techniques - are approaches or methods you as a writer may to or the
information you have gathered, accomplish your desired aim in writing.

These are the (3) Techniques in Selecting and Organizing Information

1. Brainstorming - This is an informal way of gathering ideas, thoughts, or information regarding a
certain topic and organize it to create a meaningful context.

2. Graphic Organizer - Uses visual symbols that express thoughts, ideas, knowledge, and the
relationship between them.

3. Outlining - An outline is a general plan of what you intend to write. In preparing the outline, you have
to classify each piece of information and its connection to your topic or subject.

1. It is one of the techniques wherein efforts are made to make a solution to a particular
problem.
2. It is one of the techniques that helps you to organize multiple ideas about the topic.
3. It is one of the techniques that use a visual representation to express ideas, thoughts,
knowledge.
4. It is referred to as approaches or methods used to organize information gathered.
5. It is one of the tools in Brainstorming use to see a particular topic from six different viewpoints.
6. It is one of the tools in Graphic Organizer to highlight different events and arrange them in
chronological order.
7. It is one of the tools in Outlining that uses words and phrases only.
8. This tool is used to list down all the related ideas in one particular topic.
9. This tool is used to highlight the differences and similarities between the two subjects.
10. This tool is used to provide more in-depth information.
