Reflection
In the first seminar class in the last semester of the health care informatics program
seminar, Ceejay talked about the next HISA meetings, the topics they will discuss, and the
Dr. Boone discusses seminar requirements, what must be done by the end of the
semester, and the program deadlines. In addition, the capstone project details. On the other hand,
Dr.Klimpel has discussed the expectations and what we have to be done in the practicum.
The first guest speaker for the spring seminar, Dr. Bercovitch, shares her journey about

Reflection
In the second seminar class in the last semester of the health care informatics program
seminar, Dr. Boone discussed the seminar agenda, the deadlines, and the race correction article.
The discussion about the article was about how race correction affects risk assessment and
treatment, and it's an interesting topic and how it could support clinical decisions.
The guest speaker Devon talks about jobs, her experiences, and what you want to do after
finishing your program! I want to work in the health informatics field. She adds the resume
action words and how to use them. Moreover, to get involved and use our network, in addition,
to helping others by learning from opportunities and just asking for help if you don't know how

Reflection
In the third seminar class in the last semester of the health care informatics program
seminar, Professor O'Hagan discussed the seminar agenda, capstone and the deadlines. Then,
Ceejay presents his capstone project which talked about utilization mobile devise application for
assessing pain pattern in veteran patients with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) related
headache. It was a great presentation helps me to figure out how the capstone project would be.
The guest speaker Jared talks about his carrier progression at Rady, his experiences, and
what you want to do after finishing your program and the chances. Moreover, he adds what to

Reflection
In the last seminar class in the healthcare informatics Program, the graduate students and
I presented my capstone project, which is about one of my projects in my practicum in the VA.
It's about implementing a Virtual Health Resource Center (VHRC) tool in the GetWell system.
It's great to see all of those great projects, which I feel like a conclusion of what we study
in this program. Moreover, the discussions during the class were great, talking about what could
be improved in our projects. I appreciate getting the chance to earn my master's degree from this
great school, with great instructors and great classmates. It was a tremendous and fast course,
