negative development.

To begin with, there are some

reasons why people, especially
youngsters, are influenced by the

Firstly, whenever they update the
trend, they can impress others and
show off their wealth. Secondly, no
doubt, because of social media
such as Facebook, Instagram, and
Twitter. When someone is planning
to share their new picture on social
media, they would want their outfits
and hairstyle to look different from
the previous photographs. And if
their photograph becomes a
phenomenon and people in social
media like it, it would give
them some kind of personal
satisfaction and happiness.

Yet, there are more disadvantages

than advantages of this
phenomenon. Firstly, people may
take more time to research and
update the newest trends. Then
they will waste money on buying
new clothes while these trendy
outfits are often extremely
expensive. Fashion changes so fast
nowadays, so people who are crazy
about fashion can just buy the
newest trends while they don’t care
about the usage and suitability of
the clothes.This is very wasteful and
costly. As a result, the environment
may be more polluted because of
their action. Secondly, following
latest trend may distract people
from studying and working. For
people who have another concern,
they wouldn't able to follow the
trend. Finally, following
the newest wrinkle can lead people
to lose their personal identify. For
instance, teenagers nowadays often
would like to dress the same as
their idols or fictional characters so
that they will not have their own
style, they cannot be unique, they
are just the same as other people.
They lose their personal identity.

In conclusion, people should

harmonize the demand for following
the latest trends and know what
they really need.
