1, Connect the cable to the laptop.
2, To start “BAlarm.exe” software.
3, Select COM port, where cable is connected. “Communications ‐> COM port…”
4, In the PPM reading screen press “MODE” key two times and following screen will be show
5, Press ‘ENTER” key, countdown timer starting: “200‐>199‐>198‐>197‐>196… ‐>0”
To start data transfer: select “communications‐>download”, if monitor is correctly connected,
transfer should start automatically, and the internal storage dates (from around 25 month)
will be transfer to the laptop.
Screen “communication window” will be show in next page.
Program will now transfer all data stored on memory card. This process will take minutes, pls
wait.
If an error occurs, program will finish communication and inform to user, in this case, pls
check cable connection, configure of COM port, or if monitor is transmission mode or not.
Transmission mode:
You can see the picture of item 4 above, Of course, count down timer must start through
pushing “ENTER”.
If transmission ends correctly, communication window will disappear, receive data process
will start, this process also takes some minutes, pls wait.

Parameters Parameters depending on type of event
Column “Event” of events table can contain following values:
z POWER OFF: Saves date and time in which equipment was disconnected, disconnection
instant is saved on column “PARAMETERS”.
z OFFSET S1/S2: Shows current value of measurements offset on cell1/2. This value will be
shown in column “PARAMETERS”.
z “NEW OFFSET S1/S2”: Indicates that there was a charge in offset value on cell 1/2. Old and
new offset value will be shown on column “PARAMETERS”.
z DELAY AL1/AL2: Indicates actual set‐point of alarm1/2 on column “PARAMETERS”.
z NEW SETPOINT AL1/AL2: Indicates that there was an adjustment on alarm 1/2 set point.
Set‐point value will be shown on column “PARAMETERS” before and after adjustment.
z ERROR: An error is indicated through default code (Type” and “Num”) on column
“PARAMETERS”, this code corresponds with Alarm Codes listed on next page.
