Adviser’s Corner

Note: Please post your photo here and other matters for your self-introduction.
 • Fix your uniform and hair properly before entering
the school campus.
PROCEDURE • Enter only through the “MAN GATE” entrance and
not through other gates.
IN ENTERING • Follow the entrance process flow.
THE SCHOOL (The entrance to exit process flow will be discussed
CAMPUS by the health services in charge.)
PROCEDURE DURING CLASSROOM
MORNING ASSEMBLY

• Stay inside the classroom before the

morning assembly.
• The cue for the start of the morning
assembly is the freezing bell – a long ringing
of bell.
• Stand properly.
• Avoid making unnecessary noise or actions
that will disturb your classmates or
schoolmates.
• Prepare yourself for the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem and praying of
the Holy Rosary.
 • Stand in attention facing
PROCEDURE IN frontward.
SINGING THE • Observe proper distance.
• Put your hands on the side and

NATIONAL • Never swing your body and
ANTHEM AND observe proper patriotism and
dedication.
OTHER HYMNS
• Observe proper posture at all
times.
PROCEDURE • If you are a Catholic, bring out
IN PRAYING your Rosary for the prayer.
• Avoid chatting or making

 • If you want to ask question, give answer, or
speak in the class, you should raise one hand
(left or right) only to call the attention of the
teacher.
PROCEDURE • While raising your hand, you should not call
IN RAISING the name of the teacher nor make any
sounds.
HAND TO
• Only those who keep silence while raising
TALK their hands can be recognized by the
teacher.
• If you are recognized, you should stand
properly and start talking.
PROCEDURE FOR HAND SIGNALS

• (Note: If the hand signal refers to a number,

the palm of the hand should be facing to the
one giving the signal.)
• Respond immediately to a hand signal the
first time it is given. Never delay.
• You will only have five seconds to comply
with the hand signal.
• If you have a classmate or schoolmate who
fails to notice the hand signal, let them
know without talking.

 • Quietly go to your place and put your hands
forward without touching the person in front of
PROCEDURE you. Put your hands down if you notice that you
are already in a proper distance.

DURING • Make sure you follow the line while walking by

always facing frontward.

WALKING IN • Never talk during walking in line.

• Never walk by partners.
LINE • Keep your hands to yourself.
• Never scrape or drag your shoes in walking in
line. This will irritate other people.
• Always keep right.
PROCEDURE DURING AN ASSEMBLY
AT ST. DOMINIC GYMNASIUM AND
OTHER VENUES

• An Assembly Music will be played signaling

you to form your line along the corridor.
• Wait for the speaker’s signal to call the name
of your section before going out of the
classroom.
• Refrain from talking to your classmates.
• Observe proper distancing.
TIPS FOR CLASSROOM CLEANLINESS
1. Keep hand sanitizer, tissues and
cleaning wipes handy for you to use
throughout the day.
2. Wipe down your desk with a
disinfectant regularly.
3. Assigned cleaners will clean the
floors.
4. Segregate waste products into
biodegradable and non-biodegradable.
5. Dispose waste products in a timely
manner.
