ACTIVITY TITLE: Term-End Essay
CASE STORY TITLE: One’s Commitment (part-1)

PRE-NSTP (EXPECTATION, NOTION AND IDEA)

Give your thoughts on the 17 United Nation Sustainable Development Goals and cite a particular UNSDG
and community concern that it can address where you think Mapua-NSTP students, as a whole, can mainly
contribute in it.
Student’s Answer:

The 17 United Nation Sustainable Development Goals are addressed problems which are very
alarming and needed to be solved as soon as possible. In every corner of the world, these problems are
present and become serious when ignored by the community and the government.

One of the particular UNSGD that we’ve seen is Gender Inequality. Stereotyping, patriarchy, and
bullying among the LGBT community were very much present in our community. This issue goes back on
the early days of our history, and even after several fights about it, we never seem to really end the
discrimination base on gender. In my opinion, we need to end this right away in order to give others a
peaceful life and give them love and support for whatever they want to be in their life.

These concerns must be given and addressed immediately, as it destroys some of the dreams of
people in our community. With love, peace, and unity, we can achieve everything that we want with
hurting anyone and giving them the determination and care that they’ve always wanted.
