“Developing ideas and emotions about the Dominican Charism of Light and Truth ”.

Purpose: Develop ideas and emotions about the Dominican Charism of Light and Truth by creating a song.
Virtue: Fidelity

Competence 03: Write various types of texts in English as a foreign language.

 Adapt the text to the communicative situation.
 Organize and develop ideas in a coherent and cohesive way.
 Use conventions of written language appropriately.
 Reflect and evaluate the form, content and context of the written text.

Achievement 3.4. Develop your ideas and emotions about the Dominican Charism of Light and Truth and Dominican identity, taking into account values
such as fidelity and solidarity, relating the text-illustration to build the meaning of the text and link it to the experience, expanding the information according
to the communicative purpose. Organize your ideas into short sentences and paragraphs, establishing logical relationships between them, especially
addition, contrast, sequence and cause using connectors appropriate and frequently used vocabulary that help them to make sense of the text as well as
using images to caught people attention.
ACHIEVEMENT ADEQUACY: Expresses ideas and emotions by singing a song about the dominical charism.

Coexistence Rules - They establish and assume the coexistence agreements that allow for the -Oral resources
achievement of learning, emphasizing the virtue of Responsibility (They

Graduation Profile - The student communicates orally and in writing way according to his / her - Oral resources

resources and strategies to produce and understand different types and oral
and written texts that enable them to stablish and learn languages, using the

Problematic - The students don´t know what DIC Charism as well as our identity - Asking
information and how to experience the virtues and values in their daily life, questions
that is why 6th Primary Grade will design the information in the poster with
two specific purposes the first is to know everything about it and the second - Oral resources
one is for inviting people to participate actively donating a family basket as
assumptionist family showing fidelity to the charism.

- Sequence their ideas in order to create the lyrics of the song by
working as a team group taking into account relevant information,
meaning of the new vocabulary aand phrases.
- Communicate their ideas and emotions about what they are creating
and share with the whole class taking into account all the speaking
