Purpose: Develop ideas and emotions about the Dominican Charism of Light and Truth by creating a song.

DIDACTIC SEQUENCE:

BEGINNING
Area: English as a foreign language
Grade: 3rd grade A-B-C-D Primary Level

two specific purposes the first is to know everything about it and the second - Oral resources
one is for inviting people to participate actively donating a family basket as

DURING ACTIVITY:
- Watch a video about the writing process for kids in order to create
song then.

- Receives written information about the Dominical charism, symbols,
virtues and values.
- Relates the previous information about the charism with the
knowledge about the steps to create a song.
- Organizes ideas to create their first draft of the song, following the
teacher´s instructions
- Manifests differences about their options for the lyrics of the song.
- Sequence their ideas in order to create the lyrics of the song by
working as a team group taking into account relevant information,
meaning of the new vocabulary aand phrases.
- Communicate their ideas and emotions about what they are creating
and share with the whole class taking into account all the speaking
criteria
