I am a passionate, hardworking student at 2019 - Present • LeRoy High School
LeRoy High School. I am pursuing a degree in High School Diploma
English Education. All my life, I have loved to
read and write and I have always been good
at English. Outside of that, I am very involved
with the music program at my school. I have
been in plays and musicals, as well as band
and chorus. These things have made me a
creative and collaborative person.

My name is Katie O’Brien and I am interested in a position in the English education

department at your company. I have been interested in English for my entire life. I believe
that my skills and experience make me an excellent candidate for this position. I am very
skilled in the English department. I am an avid reader and have extensive knowledge of
grammar, vocabulary, and literature.

Throughout my life, I have developed my skills and knowledge through my education, as

well as in my free time. I have gained experience in things like teamwork, collaboration,
and creativity through my involvement in extracurricular activities. In addition, I
participated in an internship with one of the English teachers at my high school during my
senior year. This experience gave me amazing insight into the position. One of my main
focuses was making reading collaborative and engaging for Freshmen and Sophomore
students. I also focused on project-based learning. Students were able to choose their own
topics and direction of work.

I am very enthusiastic and passionate about working with your company. I am a

hardworking, dedicated, and organized individual, who will enjoy working with this team. I
work well with others, as well as on my own. I am prepared to come in every day, ready to
work and do my best.
