Binga has vast natural resources such as forests, grass, water, land, fish, soil, fruits and wild
animals but people are living in absolute poverty as a result of failing to utilise available
ecosystem. For this reason the teacher has decided to lead learners to explore how best they
can use the ecosystem to reduce poverty.

Background
